‘Open Source Hardware’ (Erasmus+ BIP)
The joint ENHANCE course "Open Source Hardware", offered by TU Berlin in cooperation with TU Delft and Universitat Politècnica de València, follows a project-based teaching approach and is run as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme, including a 5-day in-person phase at TU Berlin in May 2026.
The project scope encompasses the participation in and/or advancement of an open-source hardware project, as well as the empirical acquisition of qualitative and quantitative data to answer defined research questions.
Students will learn the basics of open source hardware and gain advanced knowledge of product development, prototyping and quality improvement of open source hardware in the course of the seminar.
