Berlin University of Technology invites students of all majors from all ENHANCE universities to a hybrid Plotting Sustainability - ENHANCE Summer School on Power Struggles in The City .
The participants expand their understanding of sustainability, especially regarding social aspects such as power relations, society-nature relations, and political ecology. The theoretical foundation for this is Critical Theory and theories of radical democracy. The pedagogical foundation of the course lies in the realm of critical pedagogy and pedagogies of democracy. During the course, the participants work on societal challenges from different interdisciplinary and artistic perspectives and engage in corresponding practices. They conduct an intervention research project through which they contribute to the democratization of society and its social-ecological transformation.
The course will consist of four preparatory online meetings on Mondays - 16 + 23 + 30 June and 7 July 2025 - 14.00-16.00 CET and a stationary part that will take place at the Technical University of Berlin from 14-18 July 2025.

Participation in the course is FREE OF CHARGE. Students from ENHANCE partner universities may be eligible for an ERASMUS+ scholarship. Before applying for summer school, each WUT student must obtain the dean's approval and submit a completed application form to the Erasmus+ PW office. You can earn 6 ECTS credits for taking the course.
