EIT Women and Girls in STEM

On 16 October 2025, ENHANCE takes an active role in the EIT Women and Girls in STEM event in Brussels, a pan-European initiative that empowers girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

From 24 participating countries, high school teams of 2–4 female students competed in the STEM Challenge.

Dorota Chromińska, MA, a senior lecturer from the Foreign Language Centre of Warsaw University of Technology, provided professional coaching to help three teams prepare their final pitches with confidence. The feedback from participants has highlighted how effective and inspiring the training sessions were.

In addition, our ENHANCE STEM Ambassadors — female students from our partner universities— are going to share their personal journeys in STEM, offering relatable role models to the next generation of innovators.

ENHANCE also contributes a special award: the winning team of the public vote competition will be invited to visit one of our universities, giving them a first-hand experience of studying in leading European Universities of Technology.

Through this collaboration with EIT Girls Go Circular, ENHANCE is building bridges between schools and universities and supporting greater gender balance in STEM fields—by empowering girls today to become the innovators of tomorrow.

Don’t miss this celebration of talent, collaboration, and opportunity in STEM!
